A pressure transmitter is a measuring instrument that converts a pressure variable into a transmittable standardized output signal, and there is a given continuous functional relationship (usually a linear function) between the output signal and the pressure variable. It is mainly used for the measurement and control of industrial process pressure parameters. In order to ensure that the product you choose meets the requirements of on-site use, please refer to the following when selecting models:
1. Confirm the type of pressure to be measured. The pressure types mainly include gauge pressure, absolute pressure, differential pressure, etc.; gauge pressure refers to the pressure that is based on atmospheric pressure and is less than or greater than atmospheric pressure; absolute pressure refers to the pressure that is based on the pressure zero position and is higher than the pressure zero position ;Differential pressure is the difference between two pressures.
2. Confirm the measurement range. Under normal circumstances, the actual measured pressure is selected as 80% of the measurement range.
3. Confirm the overload of the system. The overload of the system should be less than the overload protection limit of the transmitter, otherwise it will affect the service life of the product or even damage the product. The overload protection of 2 times the measurement range is the standard configuration of our products (can also be customized according to customer requirements).
4. Confirm the accuracy level. The measurement error of the transmitter is divided according to the accuracy level, and different accuracy corresponds to different basic error limits (expressed as a percentage of full-scale output); in practical applications, according to the control requirements of measurement error and in line with the principle of applicable economy Make a choice; our company's products currently provide two accuracy levels of 0.25 and 0.5.
5. Confirm the working temperature range. The temperature of the measuring medium should be within the working temperature range of the transmitter. If it is used over temperature, it will cause a large measurement error and affect the service life; in the production process of the pressure transmitter, the temperature effect will be measured and compensated. To ensure that the measurement error caused by the temperature of the product is within the range required by the accuracy level. In the case of high temperature, you can consider choosing a high-temperature pressure transmitter or take auxiliary cooling measures such as installing a condenser (device), radiator, etc.
6. Confirm the compatibility of the measurement medium and the contact material. In some measurement occasions, the measurement medium is corrosive. At this time, it is necessary to select materials compatible with the measurement medium or perform special processing to ensure that the transmitter is not damaged.
7. Confirm the pressure interface form. The company's products use threaded connection (M20×1.5) as the standard interface form; other forms of interfaces can be selected according to user requirements. If the customer needs other special interface forms, it can be designed and produced according to the customer's requirements.
8. Confirm the power supply and output signal. The company's products are powered by DC power supply and provide four output signal options, including 4~20mADC, 0~5VDC, 1~5VDC, 0~10VDC.
9. Confirm the on-site working environment and others. It is necessary to know whether there is vibration and electromagnetic interference, etc., and provide relevant information when selecting the type, so as to take corresponding treatment; when selecting the type, other such as electrical connection methods, etc. should also be considered according to the situation.
Installation of pressure transmitter
1. Please read the product instruction manual carefully before installation, and check the relevant information of the product.
2. The transmitter should be installed in a ventilated, dry, non-corrosive, and cool place. If it is installed in the open air, a protective cover should be added to avoid sunlight and rain, so as to avoid performance degradation or failure of the transmitter.
3. The transmitter is a precision instrument, so avoid strong impact and beating during installation.
4. Connect correctly according to the wiring diagram.
5. Pay attention to protect the lead-out cables of the transmitter. When used in industrial sites, it is recommended to use metal pipes for protection or overhead. Do not loosen the sealing nut at the cable outlet to avoid the entry of moisture.
6. When cleaning the pressure port and pressure hole of the transmitter, inject trichlorethylene or alcohol into the pressure hole, shake gently, and then pour out the liquid, and repeat this many times. It is forbidden to use any utensils to extend into the pressure hole, so as not to damage the sensitive core.
