For objects with poor fluidity such as granules, the material surface and the horizontal surface form a certain angle of repose. The size of the angle of repose depends on the surface characteristics of the material and the way of feeding and discharging.

What is the purpose of using instruments such as radar level gauges to check the level? The first is to correctly measure the height, volume or weight of the material stored in the container. The second is to monitor and control the material level in the container to keep it within a certain height or within a certain height range required by the process; or to perform limit alarm or control on their upper and lower limit positions. Then, according to the radar level gauge, it continuously monitors and adjusts the balance of the inflow and outflow materials in the container to maintain the best production efficiency.
